Become a “Hoofbeat Helper.”
Hoofbeats Helpers are dedicated volunteers who commit at least one hour each week to supporting Hoofbeats for Hope. Whether you love working with horses, enjoy hands-on ranch work, or prefer helping behind the scenes, there’s a place for you on our team!

Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by assisting with barn clean-up, mucking stalls, washing water buckets, caring for the chickens, tending to landscaping, stall maintenance, and other essential ranch tasks that ensure a positive space for those we serve.

Play a vital role in the well-being of our horses by providing them dedicated care and attention. From grooming and feeding to exercising and monitoring their health, your support ensures our equine partners thrive and remain ready to serve those who need them most. (Horse experience required.)

Be the backbone of Hoofbeats for Hope by providing crucial behind-the-scenes support. From administrative tasks to helping with special events, your efforts help keep our programs running smoothly. Your dedication makes our mission possible!

Mentors are the heart of our Stable Moments program, providing consistency, support, and encouragement to foster and adopted children who have experienced complex trauma. Each child is paired with one dedicated volunteer mentor and one horse for a one-hour session each week throughout our ten-month program.
Mentors play a vital role in building trust and resilience, engaging children in meaningful, ground-based activities with their assigned horses, promoting life skills, confidence, and emotional well-being. All mentors complete online training, onsite training, and a background check before being matched.
